Introduction
CzettaPay is a digital payments, wallet, airtime and data, bill payment, rewards, and everyday lifestyle services platform owned and operated by Metcore Digital Technologies Limited (Metcore, we, us, or our).
Metcore Digital Technologies Limited is the data controller responsible for the collection and processing of personal data through CzettaPay. CzettaPay is a product and platform operated by Metcore and is not a separate legal entity or data controller.
At Metcore, we believe strongly in the fundamental right to privacy guaranteed under Section 37 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as amended.
This Privacy Policy explains how Metcore collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and otherwise processes personal data when you download, register for, access, or use the CzettaPay mobile application and related services.
For this Privacy Policy, personal data means information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. This includes information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or phone number, and information that can reasonably be connected to you, such as device identifiers, transaction records, or application usage information.

Acceptance of this Privacy Policy
Before completing registration, you will be presented with this Privacy Policy and asked to provide an affirmative indication that you have read and accepted it by selecting an I Accept button or another clearly identified acceptance mechanism.
Acceptance of this Privacy Policy will be recorded together with the relevant date, time, and applicable policy version.
Where a specific processing activity requires separate consent under applicable law, we will request that consent separately. Your acceptance of this Privacy Policy does not replace any additional consent required for particular processing activities.
You may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis for processing. However, withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal and does not prevent Metcore from continuing to process information where another lawful basis applies.
Available and future services
CzettaPay is designed as a consumer platform that provides access to a growing range of everyday payment, lifestyle, and convenience services.
Some services described in this Privacy Policy may not be available immediately. A particular category of personal data will only be collected or processed when the corresponding service, feature, or functionality becomes available and you choose to use it, or when processing is otherwise required by law.
Where a newly introduced feature requires materially different processing or additional permissions, we will provide appropriate notice and, where necessary, obtain your consent before that processing begins.
Eligibility
CzettaPay is intended for individuals who are legally eligible to use the services made available through the application.
We do not knowingly collect or process the personal data of children without a valid legal basis and any consent or authorisation required by applicable law.
If we become aware that personal data has been provided by a person who is not eligible to use a particular service, we may restrict access, request further verification, or delete the relevant information where appropriate.

If Metcore introduces a new cloud provider, hosts personal data in another country, or changes the location of a backup or secondary hosting environment, we will update this Privacy Policy or otherwise provide notice as required by applicable law. Where necessary, additional consent or an alternative lawful transfer mechanism will be obtained before the new arrangement is implemented.

The application receives only the authentication outcome needed to determine whether the device has successfully verified the user. You may disable biometric authentication through your device settings or any applicable settings within the CzettaPay application.

7.6 Deletion and disposal
Where personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and no legal basis exists for further retention, we will delete, anonymise, or otherwise dispose of the information in an appropriate manner.
A request to delete your account or personal data does not automatically require the deletion of records that we are legally required to retain or that remain necessary for an ongoing dispute, investigation, or regulatory obligation.
